Add a touch of ink to your wedding

14.08.2023

We were recently lucky enough to be part of a very intimate wedding, Serena and Ángel's wedding. We already know that stationery at weddings can be endless. There can be as many details as the couple want.

From the creation of the invitations, which is the most typical, along with your location map or a QR code to go to the web, to creating a Save the date to send months before the invitations.

Of course, the Seating plan is a super nice touch when it comes to personalizing a wedding together with the table markers who accompany each table.
On the other hand, we love focusing on the catering menus (if the restaurant does not take care of that impression or if the couple wants to personalize it so that the wedding follows the same aesthetic) And finally, the seat markers. These accompany each dish to inform the guests of which is their place at the table. To do the calligraphy by hand we use nib and ink. In this case they preferred black ink, but we also have white and blue ink.

Although you know our love for blue, of course we adapt to each project, and red in this case was the most predominant colour. For Chinese culture it is the primary color, red symbolizes good luck, so we made several design proposals with a nod to the culture.

All that remained was to choose the type of paper from our sample book and get to work.

One thing I love is creating collages for couples to better visualize the final design.

And that's how beautiful these seat markers were.

I hope you liked it and it gave you ideas.

Lots of hugs,
irene
