Creating a movie themed wedding

One of the longest projects that we've enjoyed the most up to this date has undoubtedly been Marta and Pablo's wedding. They wanted to count on us on creating wedding stationery based on movies and series. And far from sounding like a typical idea, let me tell you why this wedding was far from typical, to say the least.
To begin with, the bride and groom did not want paper invitations, so we decided to create a website for them. In it we detailed al of the important things:

- The surprise of their union

- A brief narration about their love story with some photos.
- The place of the pre-wedding, the wedding and the subsequent dinner with their corresponding locations on Google Maps, designed for the day of the wedding to be able to click and access from any device.
- The wedding schedule
- Logo with their initials
- Digital watercolor illustrations to decorate the website
- The couple wanted to write a magnificent essay about the best places in Seville to stay, eat and walk for the entire weekend.
- A section with confirmation of attendance for both the wedding and the pre-wedding + allergies to take into account for the wedding menu.
- And a place for the "post-wedding" photos of the guests and thus overcome the emotional hangover.

And the best part has yet to come, designing the illustrations.
What we were looking forward the most, without a doubt was the time to develop the stationery for their wedding. Marta and Pablo opted for the table markers and Seating plan depicting movies and series that have been more important to both for them and for the guests who were going to accompany them that day.
But you can't imagine the twist we gave to all that illustration. It wasn't about creating a poster about the film and that's it, of course not. The idea was to adapt the film to our couple's crazy ideas, based on stories and anecdotes with the friends who would be sitting at each table. In total: 18 magnificent table markers.
List of movies/series:
1. Kill Bill, 2. The Serranas, 3. The Minions, 4. Porky's Show, 5. How I Met Your Mother, 6. The Shawshank Redemption, 7. Back to the Future, 8. The Hangover on the Cruise, 9. The Invaders, 10. Harry Potter, 11. Cluedo, 12. Space Jam, 13. Oliver and Benji, 14. High School Musical, 15. Titanic, 16. Breakfast at Tiffany's, 17. Saving Private Ryan, 18. Cars .

There were posters where we were able to propose ideas from scratch, and there were others in which Marta and Pablo told us stories and moments with those who where going to be on that table, sketches and ideas emerged until each poster took its own shape. Difficult, but plenty of fun.
We are currently picking the best poster stories on our Instagram so you can better understand some of them.
Since everything was so personalized, we took into account to also develop the Seating plan, creating Teasers for each illumination. Thus discovering an image of the film, without revealing the surprises behind them.
And in some illustrations we actually managed to include the faces of some of the guests

And so this is who the look
Last, but not least, we talk about the stationery as a nice detail for the guests.
On the one hand, the couple wanted to once again mention one of the most iconic series, and placed a disposable camera on each table where guests could take photos of the moment.
In order to explain how this would works, we designed this poster. On the back it detailed the rules to follow.
Finally, they commissioned us to make some illustrations that served as placeholders and a joint thank-you note. Personally, I think they were the ideal combination of everything in one.
Everyone has wanted to keep it or frame it as a souvenir of such a special wedding with so much detail.
We hope you liked reading all about what we have been developing during these months :) We are very proud of how everything has turned out and especially grateful to Marta and Pablo for trusting us, in our work, for telling us their ideas and being able to make magic together .
Thank you
